Creating a Self-Sponsored Account

A text capable cell phone (US or Canada) is required for self-sponsoringAn email address (This can be a non-SU email). If you do not have access to a text capable cell phone an email account, you will need to get sponsored by an SU staff/student or faculty.

  • Connect to the AirOrangeGuest network.

    Select AirOrangeGuest SSID

  • The self sponsor web page (shown below) should automatically appear.  If it does not open up a browser and it should be redirected to the self sponsor web page (shown below).
  • Enter your 10 digit cell phone email in the space provided, accept the terms of use and click register.  (click any image to enlarge)

  • Review the information noting the expiration date and time.  Your cell email should receive a text an email containing the code within a few minutes. When it does click to continue.Confirmation Page with Expiration TimeImage Removed
  • Enter your 10 digit cell phone # and the passcode

    Find the email that was sent to your

    phone and click the login button.

  • The system will display a login message below before redirecting your browser to the SU web site.  You will have wireless access for 1 week.
