To clear the browser history (including cookies and cache) in Google Chrome, use one of the following solutions depending on the version of Chrome and the devicethe methods below.  Note that if you're signed in to Chrome into multiple computers or devices, deleting your browser history may take effect on all the other devices.

Option 1

  • Select the Chrome menu in the upper right hand corner (Three dots)
  • Select "More Tools"
  • Select "Clear browsing data"

  • In the "Time Range" field select "All Time"
  • Under select items to delete, make sure "Browsing History," "Cookies and other site data' and "Cached images and files" area selected.  You can also select other items on the Advanced tab if you wish to delete them.
  • Click on the "Clear Data" button

Option 2

  • Select "History" from the Chrome menu
  • Select "History"

  • Select the "Clear browsing data" button

How-To Clear Browser History and Cache in Google Chrome Desktop

Follow the steps below to clear the cache of your Chrome Browser. 

  1. Close all open Chrome windows and tabs. Open a new Chrome window.

  2. Click the Menu button in the top right. 

  3. Select the 'More tools' option and then select 'Clear browsing data...'.

  4. On the Basic tab that populates, click the drop down and select 'All time'. Be sure to leave the options selected. Now, click the Advanced tab.

  5. On the Advanced tab, click the drop down and select 'All time'. Leave the options selected and also select 'Passwords and other sign-in data'.

  6. Now click the "Clear data" button. 

    You  have now cleared the cache of your Chrome browser! We recommend closing and restarting the program.

  1. Select the Chrome menu

  2. Select the menu button on the phone

  3. Select "Settings"

  4. Select "Privacy"

  5. Select the "Clear Browsing Data" at the bottom of the screen

  6. select the items to delete (include "Clear browsing history," "Clear cookies..." and "Clear the cache")

  7. Select the "Clear" button
