Share a Page and Links to Answers Pages
You can easily share an Answers page by using the "Share" button on the toolbar.
Enter one or more email addresses in the box for user name or email. If you want to include a note in the email that gets sent, enter it in the "Note" box.
Now select "Share" and the email will be sent. The email includes who "shared" the page, a link to the page, and the contents of your note.
Links to Answers Pages
When linking to an Answers page, you should use a the "persistent linkShare Link" that will not change as the page is updated. You can find this link by doing the following:
Select "Tools" and then "Link to this Page"
You have two options for links on the next screen:
The URL listed under "Link:" The URL in the browser is based on the page title and may break if the page title is changed. The "Preferred Share Link:" URL is based on a unique key for the page and will always be valid as long as the page exists, even if you move the page or change its name. This is the preferred link to email to people or use on a web page.
If you just copy and paste the URL that appears in the browser window, the URL is more likely to break if the page is moved or updated, so it is the least preferred method to link to an Answers page.
