Start > run > cmd > systeminfo

Start > run > hcp://system/sysinfo/sysinfomain.htm \-> View the status of my system hardware and software

Under "System Software" the operating system should be listed with the install date under "Date Created"

# Open Macintosh hard drive on desktop, find {color:blue}Application{color} folder and open it.

# Scroll Down and open {color:blue}Utilities{color} folder.

# Open the {color:blue}console{color} window in the {color:blue}Utilities{color} folder.

# In the {color:blue}console{color}, expand the directories as shown below, find and click on {color:blue}OSInstall.custom{color}, you will find the OS install date as shown below.

You can type {color:blue}vi /var/log/OSInstall.custom{color} on the {color:blue}Terminal{color} window.
