In order to retain funding for the fourth year, students must defend their exams by this deadline. This means that your exam set article and annotated bibliography must be completed and revised, approved by , revised in collaboration with your chair prior to their approval, and approved by your committee for defense significantly earlier in order to meet the Grad School requirement of scheduling your exam hearing at least two weeks out from the actual hearing date.
