Course Description

Practical and theoretical knowledge of network security. Topics covered include security policies and their place in information technology (IT) and business plans, virtual private networks (VPNs), firewalls, public key infrastructures (PKI), and intrusion detectionSecurity technologies and management in networked/Internet environments with hands-on skills and research opportunities. This course provides students with the concepts, threats, and key components of network security with technologies and effective management.
